Seeing Derek's parents, siblings and family really kicked our asses in the wedding planning dept. To be honest with you I'm a little scared. So many decisions and plan, plan, plan. We have a budget ($2,000) and *need* to stick to it. Looks like the liquor is going to be the biggest expense.
Is there something wrong with me? Most women live for their wedding day and I'd rather get married in Vegas and not have to stress out. But I know if we get married alone without our loved ones, I will regret it.
Plenty of people have offered help, but I just don't know where to begin!
We have the place (still need to confirm), DJ and we have caterer, I know what I am wearing and I have a general idea of decorations needed/wanted. We can't afford to pay a photographer so I'm hoping people will snap some nice shots of us. We need to discuss menu and liquor prices with Leopard lounge and our friend Mike (caterer), before I really get myself into a frenzy.
I know this is all due to me now being off of work for a while, but GAH! |

Yes, the title to this blog is correct. I am straightening up, going through some items in my closet and the time/day has come to retire two pairs of my old friends.
I am been cringing for this day and now it has come....I need to just throw out these TWO pairs of boots, because they have just become so beat up that it is now a matter of safety. I am sad to see them disappear into the dump at which they will make their fianl resting place. We've had good times: dancing, falling, kicking things/people, being tall and goth! GAH! They just don't male them like they used too :(

I have a guacamole problem:
a) goya makes premade guacamole dip in the chilled section (ooooooh yeah!)
b) guac chips....like doritos (as Robert would say "just like heaven")
Yes, I have no life...I post about food! Now I must eat some! Yay!
P.S Terri bought me some pink flamingo cups! Yay! Pretty soon I will be like Dani w/all her piggies! LOL |
